Place ⅓ cup of herb mixture into reusable muslin tea bag in a quart (4 cups) of boiling water. Let herbal mixture steep for 30 minutes in covered container. Once ready, remove muslin tea bag, and pour liquid into a sitz tub or shallow bath. You may add some of your herbal mixture into a peri bottle. May soak up to 3x a day.

Always test the temperature of your water, things are a little more sensitive down there after birth. If it was too hot, but I was ready for my soak, I would add room temp water, and then take some of the total mixture and add it to my peri bottle. Make sure to clean out your muslin bag once you are done! And same with your peri bottle!
