The most valuable skill you’ll ever learn is to figure it out

I recently saw a reel that said this, and I couldn’t help but think about how much I’ve had to figure out over the years. But it’s the ability to try over and over again. I think some would call that a form of resiliency.

Or maybe It’s just plain stubbornness!

At the end of the day it’s a commodity in our society. I see people quite everything in life. Obviously, the easiest thing is to give up. And trust me, I used to be a quitter. I quit everything in life growing up. Sports. Instruments. Relationships. Things I was actually good at. I think it had a lot to do with wanting to fit in and being accepted. I still struggle with this actually. But having Paul has changed that part of me quite a bit.

I’m still learning how to be a good mom…a good wife…a good friend…a good sister… a good business owner 🤪 But it’s ok to learn! And it’s ok to admit that I don’t have everything figured out! Honestly, the most miserable people I know think they have it all figured out and have the answers to everything! Totally missing the point in being flexible in life!

So keep figuring it out! No one on this planet is perfect! And we are all working through our own sets of insecurities & struggles. Just don’t quit when the going gets tough. Fine tune that muscle. And show others they can do it, just like you.

Xoxo,

Mary 🙏
